Hi folks!

Finally I can show you what I created for this years M’era Luna Festival. Since I only decided to go there 3 weeks ago I had very little time to create anything.But hey, I made it in time :)

I decided to go “Baby Industrial”. Industrial style often is inspired by Military fashion and since it is not your typical army colored dress it is Baby Industrial. Ha! Yes,I invented that term, sue me :P The dress is a shameless rip off inspired by military dresses like this or this one. I used the same pattern as for my the black pinafore dress. The oversea cap is made from this tutorial (BUT I had to change it a lot in order to make it really work).

The fabric is cord. Cord is a pain in the a*s to sew and if you don’t serge the edges carefully you’ll have a huge problem, let me tell you ;)

I was lucky to find these old metal buttons with a crest on it in the depth of my button drawer. Very pretty.

I will be wearing one of my necklaces with the dress :)

The blouse is pretty old but I thought it might fit. I added the stars to the collar.

And the cap.

You’ll get pictures from me in the dress after the festival. For now I have tons of stuff to do before we can go.
