Batman says: Being Green is Easy

The other day my wonderful Mr. Sew brought home a The Zombie Simon Garth comic book for me :D Now if that alone isn’t super awesome, no it also came in a cool batman plastic bag. I really fell in love with batman being all angry andsexy the design of the bag and wanted to do something with it. So I remembered a tutorial I’ve seen once and decided to totally rip off her idea get inspired by that.  The idea is that you basically fuse old plastic bags by ironing them. Afterwards you can just sew the plastic like it was (a very strange kind of) fabric. It gets really resilient and won’t rip.

Mr Sew  (a huuuge batman fan and king of the nerds) is just starting his Masters program at university, so I decided to make him a zipper pouch from the bag for all his pens and other uni utensils.

I like how it turned out for it was my first time sewing plastic *haha* Mr Sew also loves it a lot.

Such a nice way to recycle old plastic bags. Batman would approve of recycling!

I hope everyone is having a great day.

Liebe Grüße, Trisha (who’s super hero name is Asthma Girl!)

nope, not at all- Since you’re fusing three layers of plastic bag it gets really resilient

You did an amazing job! I saw this tutorial a while back, they didn’t use it to make anything this cool though.
